Discovering Potential
We discover the potential of new bio-materials in nature.

WELLB2BIO · UPCYCLING MARINE BIOTECHNOLOGY
Starting from ocean resources once discarded,we research the potential of next-generation vegan bio-materials.

THE SOURCE · MARINE PLANT
We transform ocean resources that once ended as wasteinto high-value bio-materials.
FROM WASTE TO ACTIVE MATERIAL
We connect possibilities found in nature to new material value for both the environment and the skin.
03 — OUR VISION
We carry possibilities that began in the sea toward a better standard for bio-materials.
We discover the potential of new bio-materials in nature.
We redefine the value of marine plants as high-value bio-materials.
Through precise research, we set the standard for sustainable materials.
We align environmental value and skin science in one direction.
04 — RESEARCH

NEWS
WELLB2BIO has joined the Korea Marine Bio Industry Association as a full member. Established under the authorization of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, the association serves as an industry-academia-research-government platform connecting marine bio companies, research institutes, local governments and public agencies, and as a policy partner for the sector. Through the association, WELLB2BIO will broaden its research and commercialization network for marine-derived materials and expand its marine upcycling technology in both domestic and global markets.
News about WELLB2BIO was featured in the Industry Trends section of Mbio-Bridge, a marine bio industry information platform operated by the National Marine Biodiversity Institute of Korea under the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries. Mbio-Bridge is a public platform that gathers information on Korean marine bio companies, research achievements and policies and shares it with the industry. Our approach to transforming discarded marine resources into high-value materials was shared through this industry information channel.
WELLB2BIO was selected as a startup for the 2026 Startup City Project Investment-Linked Startup Package, promoted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and Ulsan Metropolitan City. The program supports the commercialization of early-stage companies in connection with investment attraction to foster the regional startup ecosystem. Through this program, WELLB2BIO plans to accelerate the commercialization of its marine bio materials.
We have filed a patent application for our vegan PDRN material technology derived from Sargassum horneri. The technology obtains low-molecular PDRN material from marine plants collected year after year and aims to provide a vegan alternative to animal-derived ingredients. WELLB2BIO is conducting follow-up research and preparing the material for commercialization.
